Having his background in Gospel, R & B, Jazz, Classical and Latin, Wali Muhammad plays with a maturity that is deeply rooted with dynamics, expression and drive. Since arriving in Montreal, Canada, he’s had the opportunity to perform original Haitian music with Harold Faustin, dance oriented Armenian music with Raffy Niziblian and creative Mauritius African music with Abel Hassing, thus expanding his musical horizons.

Besides his private teaching duties at Concordia University, Wali has been giving performance workshops on the art of jazz or what he likes to call Jazz Alive. This hands on approach gives young aspiring artists, jazz aficionados and people who appreciate positive music the opportunity to ask questions and see how musicians construct, interact and interpret the music they love.

Like great pioneers, Mr. Muhammad understands the importance of creative growth and therefore is hard at work composing music for his Debut CD. This music will be driven by heartfelt rhythms colored in rich harmonies with dancing melodies.

Producing and promoting jazz concerts with his company Together As One Productions, has made Mr. Muhammad aware of the significance in hiring an individual artist or band that is exceptional, organized and responsible.

As a professional musician, Wali Muhammad is dedicated to creating great music and being a team player. Experienced in various styles, Wali is available for clinics/workshops, recordings and short or long term tours.

As a band leader, Wali works with a pool of talented musicians assuring his audience performances of quality and distinction. He works with multi format ensembles and entertaining vocalist thus fulfilling all expectations.
